Chicano Alley Graffiti Murals in Lamont

A graffiti mural done in the "Chicano" Avenue of the alternative to the sample of graffiti that has plagued this area in Lamont. Children from the Boys and Girls Club of Lamont paint several murals in what is called "Chicano Alley" in the hope of channeling positive graffiti in artistic expression. It is funded by the Arts Council of base through the Dolores Huerta Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club. It teaches is headed by Jorge Guillén, the art at the Boys and Girls Club.
